Q. How do you pronounce your name, Coffeeteria?
A. Cough-E-Tear-E-ah. Just like cafeteria but with a “Cough.”
Q. Where’d you get a silly name like that from?
A. It’s a teen hang out coffee shop place… Teens, coffee, high school. It was almost Garden Perk, but it felt too much like Central Perk from another show. Also we wanted to distinguish it as a something new.
Q. I know you’re pretending this is a real coffeeshop and all, but I’m gonna break your whole visceral marketing scheme and just ask where you shoot at? Is that a real coffee shop or a set?
A. Now you’re just talking crazy. Not to get all National Treasure on you but: The secret rest with Bonnie.
Q. What’s the average weight of a great white shark.
A. 250lbs
Q. What’s up with the spelling of Aarroonn’ss name? It was spelled on his Coffeeteria name tag “Aarron”
A. The Boz wrote his name tag in a hurry and misspelled it. Aaron just went with it happy to have a job.
Q. What happened to Aaron after the end?
A. The answer is found in Fuel Ignited Volume 2.
Q. So at the Coffeeteria you can order a thimble size, bucket and barrel. Why didn’t Cindy order a barrel size cup?
A. Because she never finishes a barrel size. As if! Also bucket sounds meaner when you say it like that.
Q. Why did Cindy hide Aaron in the ladies bathroom? Why not just leave?
A. Cindy didn’t drive to the Coffeeteria and had no car to leave in. Also this is based on a similar occurrence in the life of the screenwriter.
Q. Why did “The Boz” hire Aarron after Aaron told him he only wanted to work there because of a girl?
A. A glimpse of the life of “The Boz” can be seen in Fuel 2 in the Lifeway Bible Study Material. In that time he was kicked around by girls so he’s a bit sympathic towards Aarron. Also he really needed someone to work because he was tired of pulling double shifts.
Q. What really happened when Cindy “stayed over” at Caboose’s house?
A. Cindy and Caboose say nothing.
Q. Does Barret have a girlfriend?
A. No.
Q. Why did Aarron hit Caboose?
A. Stories about perfect people are a bit boring. Also Aarron suffered a lot of consequences because of his actions. Coffeeteria is a teaching resource and what better way to learn than teach through another person’s missteps. However Aarron’s heart was in the right place to stand up for his friend and some of you were a little glad to see that bully get taken down a few notches.
Q. Where does the nickname Caboose come from? What’s his real name?
A. Perhaps we’ll find out the origin of the name in up coming volumes. If you were listening carefully you might have heard Caboose’s mother yell it out.
